Scott 2020

The GWT contact for NWC is its President, Scott Wallace. Scott is a water expert and a registered professional engineer in 22 US states. He has created 4 US and 1 Canadian patent for water treatment technologies and has pursued a global business model working in 17 countries to date ranging from highly developed regions in Europe and the Middle East, to remote areas in Sub-Saharan Africa where electrical power is unavailable.

Scott has written the two leading textbooks on wetland treatment design; Treatment Wetlands, Second Edition (with R. Kadlec), which is widely used in graduate university programs around the world, and Small-Scale Constructed Wetland Wastewater Treatment Systems (with R. Knight), which has been used by UNESCO as a training manual for environmental scientists and engineers. He is considered a world expert in wetland treatment design and works closely with university research programs in the US, Canada, the UK, France, Germany, Denmark and China.
