Gidy stormwater treatment plant

A 11000 m2 artificial pond and 2600 m2 reed bed filters were created for the storage and treatment of stormwater and runoff from Servier pharmaceutical Laboratories site in Gidy. Designed to be able to treat once-a-century rainfall. Capacity : 12000 m3. Design : Epur Nature. Established : 2014.

    An artificial pond was created following by a vertical flow reed bed filter.

    Cost-effective and sustainable solution for the storage and treatment of rainfall and runoff. A once-a-century rainfall has been anticipated and design has been adapted with a capacity of 12000m3. For a pollution not exceeding 250 mg/l for COD and SS, guarantee on the outlet quality is 7 mg/l BOD5, 30 mg/l COD, 25 mg/l in SS, 1 mg/l HC, 1 mg/l Pb, 3 mg/l NGL, 0.7 mg/l TP.
