Needs:
Stormwater storage and treatment on industrial site
-
Solution:
An artificial pond was created following by a vertical flow reed bed filter.
-
Benefits:
Cost-effective and sustainable solution for the storage and treatment of rainfall and runoff. A once-a-century rainfall has been anticipated and design has been adapted with a capacity of 12000m3. For a pollution not exceeding 250 mg/l for COD and SS, guarantee on the outlet quality is 7 mg/l BOD5, 30 mg/l COD, 25 mg/l in SS, 1 mg/l HC, 1 mg/l Pb, 3 mg/l NGL, 0.7 mg/l TP.
