De Moerenaar is an artisanal cheesery near the Belgian West Coast. They produce a variety of local cheeses, some containing beer. The waste water from the cheesery plus the dairy farm that delivers the milk, is treated in a 240 m² aerated wetland. The cheese wey is not treated in the system.
