Aerated wetland at hotel/conference center.

One of the largest and most efficient wastewater treatment plant with french system reed bed filter in France.

Nominal capacity : 4000 p.e. with an extension to 6000 p.e. 

Aerated wetland of 360 m², treating the sanitary waste water from an elementary school.

At Escurolles, in central France (Allier), a reed bed fed with raw sewage assures primary and secondary treatment for 705 PE , followed by a tricking filter for polishing and nitrification

-          All treated wastewater is reused for irrigation of agricultural used area

-          The 2 staged wetland system treats the domestic effluent of 55 residents and employees

-          The pre-treatment is carried out on the surface of an planted, vertical flowed gravel bed wetland with 2 charging points, used alternately (2 and 2 days) 

-          The post-treatment is carried out in an planted vertical flowed sand bed wetland with 4 divisions to maintain always the biologically activity in all parts of the wetland

Vertical flow reed bed filter (French system) followed by a trickling filter and a treatment with apatite treat the pollution of raw domestic sewage. Capacity : 1500 p.e. Vegetated effluent discharge area before final reject into the small river "Merderic".

Two stage vertical flow wetland with recirculation. The system treats the wastewater from the ecological office building. The treated wastewater is reused for toilet flushing.
