The two stage reed bed system at Aumont (500 PE), in the French Jura mountains meets stringent discharge standards in phosphorous removal through a third stage filtration with reactive media

At Escurolles, in central France (Allier), a reed bed fed with raw sewage assures primary and secondary treatment for 705 PE , followed by a tricking filter for polishing and nitrification 

1,2 ha system treating the effluent of an activated sludge system for treament of the liquid fraction of swine manure.

Grenoble – urban park Ouagadougou: a 1 ha urban park with reed bed filters and surface flow wetlands collecting and treating stormwater runoff from the roofs of buildings and from adjacent roads in order to meet irrigation needs of the park and to reduce discharge of stormwater into the municipal sewer system. Allenwiller : a 1700 m², vertical flow reed bed (French system) plus a 960 m² second stage unsaturated vertical flow reed bed filter, treating 495 m3/d of domestic effluent from three villages (1100 PE) in Alsace.

Yaxley: A three stage system comprising lagoon with floating reed beds, surface flow horizontal and sub surface flow horizontal to treat 170 m3/d of vegetable wash water.

Peterborough: A 2,570m2 Horizontal sub-surface flow reed bed treating hydrocarbon loaded run-ff with peak flows of 1,420 m3/day.

Two stage vertical flow wetland with recirculation. The system treats the wastewater from the ecological office building. The treated wastewater is reused for toilet flushing.
